Milne Campaign Statement on NBC5 Debate

POMFRET, VT – The Scott Milne for Lieutenant Governor campaign today released the following statement from campaign manager Corey Parent regarding the NBC5 debate:

“Tonight, Molly Gray refused to call for the disclosure of donors to the Super PAC run by her friends. Her dodgy response and thin excuses ring hollow. There is nothing stopping her from calling for full disclosure except an unwillingness to be honest and transparent with Vermonters, which has become the hallmark of her candidacy.

“Scott Milne won this debate because he continues to offer real, affordable and achievable solutions, and honest answers, not bumper sticker sloganeering and political-speak.”

Scott Milne knows how difficult COVID-19 has been for so many Vermonters whose lives and livelihoods have been upended. Now more than ever, we need more leaders in Montpelier who understand the challenge of running a small business and creating and protecting good jobs. Scott is running for lieutenant governor in order to help move Vermont through our economic recovery and toward a more prosperous future.
