Pomfret, VT – The Scott Milne for Lieutenant Governor campaign today reported raising over $41,000 during the most recent filing period, including $31,000 in individual contributions - the most of any candidate in the race for either party.
“We know how to run lean, effective campaigns, and we have every intention of doing the same thing this year” said Milne. “I am really grateful for the support shown by fellow Vermonters and friends.”
Seventy-eight percent of Milne’s donors contributed $100 or less. Among Milne’s donors were former Governor Jim Douglas, Governor Phil Scott, Penny Dubie, former Barre Mayor Thom Lauzon, and former gubernatorial candidate Bruce Lisman.
Due to problems with the Secretary of State’s reporting system on Saturday, Milne’s report was filed on Sunday.
