North Pomfret – The Scott Milne for Lieutenant Governor campaign announced today the endorsements of former Barre Mayor Thom Lauzon and State Representative candidate Karen Lauzon.

“I am thankful to have Thom and Karen’s support in my campaign for Lt. Governor. Thom and Karen have both been strong leaders for Barre and Central Vermont,” said Milne. “I look forward to working with Karen in the State House come January, and I will always value her husband’s counsel.”

“When I think of what Vermont’s economy needs to emerge stronger from COVID-19, Scott is the clear choice for Lt. Governor,” said Thom Lauzon. “Scott’s experience as a small businessperson and job creator will enable the Lt. Governor’s office to be a powerful voice for Vermonters.”

Karen Lauzon added, “Tourism is a vital industry here in Vermont, and one where Scott has been a leader for over three decades. Scott is uniquely positioned to be a champion for Vermont businesses.”

Thom and Karen Lauzon join Governor Douglas, Governor Phil Scott, and 38 currently elected Republican legislators to have endorsed Scott Milne for Lt. Governor ahead of the August 11th primary. Thom Lauzon was the Mayor of Barre for 12 years.
