Montpelier, VT – Today, the Vermont Association of Realtors (VAR) Board of Directors announced their endorsement of Scott Milne for Lieutenant Governor.

“Scott Milne has the small business experience we need in Montpelier,” said VAR CEO Kathy Sweeten. “He will be a strong advocate for economic prosperity and affordability in these incredibly uncertain times.”

“Scott’s commitment to make housing affordable is unparalleled in this race,” added Stephanie Corey, VAR Board of Directors President. “His comprehensive ProgressVT Plan includes specific proposals to support down payment assistance, reduce property taxes, break down red tape for housing projects, and reform Act 250. Scott Milne is the right leader we need to help move our state forward.”

“I am honored to have the support of the Vermont Association of Realtors,” said Milne. “I look forward to working with them on issues related to housing affordability and other key priorities in Montpelier. I’m confident that if we put aside partisanship and work across the aisle, we can build a brighter future for our state.”

The Vermont Association of Realtors represents more than 1,750 members throughout Vermont, and is committed to building strong communities, supporting vibrant local economies, and empowering Vermonters through home ownership.

Scott Milne knows how difficult COVID-19 has been for so many Vermonters whose lives and livelihoods have been upended. Now more than ever, we need more leaders in Montpelier who understand the challenge of running a small business and creating and protecting good jobs. Scott is running for lieutenant governor in order to help move Vermont through our economic recovery and toward a more prosperous future.
